LETZTER TAG – wir fliegen zurück nach Deutschland

Reisetag 6 min.

Abreisetag….Wir sind um 5 Uhr aufgestanden, haben uns fertig gemacht und unsere Sachen zusammengepackt. Um kurz nach 6 Uhr haben wir ausgecheckt und sind mit einem Tuk Tuk (hier Tricycle genannt) des Hotels fünf Minuten zum Flughafen gefahren. Wir checkten ein und aßen unseren Rest Toast mit Peanutbutter und Bananen zum Frühstück. Wir gingen durch die Sicherheitskontrolle und waren direkt am Gate. Abflug war eigentlich um 7:50 Uhr aber das Flugzeug war früh dran und Boarding war schon um 7 Uhr, also liefen wir vom Ausgang über das Rollfeld zum Flugzeug. Der Flug nach Manila dauerte ca. 1,5 Stunden, wo wir gegen 9 Uhr ankamen. Wir holten unsere Rucksäcke von der Gepäckausgabe und gingen zum Ausgang, denn wir mussten zu Terminal 3. Wir konnten einen Shuttle-Bus (0,80€ p.P.) nehmen, den wir noch rechtzeitig bekommen hatten, und fuhren einmal um den Flughafen herum. Von hier liefen wir über eine Fußgängerbrücke über die Hauptstraße. Hier gab es alles was wir brauchten direkt nebeneinander. Wir holten uns ein zweites Frühstück bei Subway, kauften uns Wasser in einem Supermarkt und setzten uns ab 10:30 Uhr auf ein bis zwei Kaffee bei Starbucks rein. Hier verbrachten wir die fünf Stunden bis zu unserem Abflug am Abend.


Um 15:30 Uhr gingen wir zurück in den Flughafen und suchten uns erst mal ein ruhiges Plätzchen, weil Marco um 16 Uhr noch einen Call hatte. Danach checkten wir ein, gingen durch die Immigration/Einreise, die Sicherheitskontrolle und waren schon beim richtigen Gate. Von dem restlichen Bargeld kauften wir uns Wasser und Snacks. Wir mussten noch eine halbe Stunde warten bis wir pünktlich um 18:35 Uhr starteten. Der Flug nach Abu Dhabi dauerte ca. neun Stunden, wo wir nach Ortszeit gegen Mitternacht ankamen. Hier hatten wir noch ca. 2,5 Stunden Aufenthalt und konnten bequeme Sessel an unserem Gate ergattern. Um 2:45 Uhr sollten wir starten aber sind erst mit einer Stunde Verspätung abgeflogen. Der Flug nach Deutschland dauerte ca. sieben Stunden. Wir hatten Glück und eine Dreierreihe für uns, sodass ich einigermaßen Schlaf kriegen konnte. Mit einer halben Stunde Verspätung sind wir gegen 7:30 Uhr in Düsseldorf gelandet. Nach der Immigration mussten wir ewig an der Gepäckausgabe warten, aber beide Rucksäcke sind angekommen! Auf der Toilette zogen wir uns um und machten uns frisch. Danach kauften wir uns Frühstück bei einem deutschen Bäcker – endlich wieder! Um 9:45 Uhr ging unser ICE nach Hannover. Ganz schön kalt hier…Um 12:30 Uhr sind wir in Hannover am Hauptbahnhof angekommen und wurden von Familie und ein paar Freunden herzlich empfangen 🙂
